Brighton Secondary College is fortunate to have an active and enthusiastic Parents' and Friends” Association.
The PFA aims to encourage and support parents and students at the College. As well as fundraising, the PFA works diligently with a network of dedicated and hard-working Class Representatives to foster a strong sense of College community spirit.
Funds raised from PFA events are used to underpin school facilities and programs. Recent purchases funded by the PFA include black out curtains for the drama studio, new furniture for two science rooms, air conditioners and computers.
The Parents Association meets every alternate first Monday of the month at the College at 7.30pm. Parents are invited to join this dynamic group. Annual membership is $2.
PFA Uniform Shop
The PFA Uniform Shop is operated by the College, both as a service to the school community and as a fundraising venture. All proceeds are returned to the College. The Shop is supported by Parents' Association volunteers and managed by Liz Alabaster. Volunteer parents are always welcome.
The Shop is open every Tuesday morning from 8.30am to 10.00am. It is located opposite the music rooms (enter via the Performing Arts Centre foyer entrance).
The shop stocks a full range of second hand uniform items, and some new items, and a range of second hand books.
